FAQ

Questions, answered

The questions families ask us most often about memory care, cost, and life at Magnolia.

What is memory care, and how is it different from assisted living?

Memory care is specialized, secure care designed for individuals living with Alzheimer's or other forms of dementia. It combines the daily support of assisted living with a structured, secure environment, higher staff attentiveness, and activities designed specifically around cognitive engagement and familiarity.

What levels of care does Magnolia provide?

Our Flower Mound community offers memory care, medication management, 24/7 care staff, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and social activities, all built around each resident's individual care plan.

What's included in the monthly rate?

Our pricing is all-inclusive, starting at $5,895 per month. That covers personalized care, medication management, meals, activities, and housekeeping. No hidden fees or surprise add-ons. There are no levels of care and no unexpected monthly care fees; the exact rate depends on the suite style. Contact our team for a personalized quote.

What suite and room options are available?

We offer five suite types: four private studios — small, midsize, large, and corner — plus a shared companion studio for two residents. Sizes range from about 200 sq ft up to about 410 sq ft for the companion layout. All-inclusive monthly rates run from $6,200 for a small studio to $7,350 for a corner studio, and the shared companion studio is $5,500. View our floor plans or schedule a tour to see them in person.

Can I tour the community, and how do I schedule a visit?

Yes, tours are available seven days a week. Call us at (214) 225-6314 ahead of time to ensure availability, or request a tour online. We're also happy to arrange a virtual walkthrough if an in-person visit isn't possible yet.

What safety and security measures are in place?

Magnolia is a secure, structured community with round-the-clock security and certified care staff on site 24/7, designed to reduce wandering risk and give families genuine peace of mind.

How is Magnolia different from a large senior living campus?

Magnolia is intentionally small and boutique. That means our care team gets to know every resident by name, and families consistently tell us it feels less like a facility and more like home.

Who can I talk to about a complaint or concern?

Please reach out to our Executive Director directly, or call our main line at (214) 225-6314. Texas also provides a free, confidential long-term care ombudsman service. Call 1-800-252-2412 to speak with an ombudsman.
